Community Joint Use Agreement

The California School Board Association (CSBA) oversees public and national education activities and advises board members, superintendents, and public and national officials on the impact of these activities on local school administration. The CSBA has an example of a board directive for sharing agreements. These sample guidelines provide school districts with a guide to sharing the costs and risks of using educational or community facilities with other institutions. The objective of this Directive is to explain the different types of agreements available to facilitate the Community use of schools and to outline what schools must do to access them.
